Mitchell Epstein
Mitchell is the Group
President for the Margin Maximizer Group of
ProfitStars. He has more than
nineteen years of experience working with
institutions of all sizes to develop strategies
that increase net interest margin and
effectively grow the core customer base. He is
nationally recognized for his success at
improving net interest margins by increasing the
focus on effective pricing of assets and
liabilities, and developing profitable growth
strategies while managing interest rate risk.
He has comprehensive exposure to all areas of
banking with specific emphasis on commercial and
consumer lending, deposit pricing, marketing and
operations.
After three years experience as a commercial
bank examiner for the Federal Reserve System,
Mr. Epstein joined US Banking Alliance where he
worked with community banks and thrifts on
interest rate risk and net interest margin
issues.
Joel Rosenberg
Joel is a senior
consultant responsible for managing net interest
margin consulting assignments for community
banks. He has
twenty-five years of banking and financial
service experience. He has extensive knowledge
in Treasury, Capital Markets, Asset
Securitization, Asset/Liability management and
bank financial management, including loan and
deposit pricing, optimal capital strategies,
alternative funding methods and net interest
margin improvement strategies.
Gerald Caldwell
Gerald is a Senior Business Consultant responsible
for managing net interest margin consulting
assignments for the Margin Maximizer Group of
ProfitStars. With over 25 years of relevant financial
experience including over 14 years as a lender and
8 years as a consultant, he has particular insight
into the decisions loan officers face in pursuing
and pricing quality loans. He began his career at
a large regional bank, has managed loan portfolios
for a non-profit money manager, and has been involved
in two community bank start-ups.
Dan Roderick
Dan is a senior consultant responsible for
managing net interest margin consulting
assignments for community banks. He has 25 years experience building
financial and information services businesses as
well as managing large-scale marketing program
and technology implementations. He has gained
considerable experience in the development of
product pricing strategies spanning banking,
insurance and broker dealer operations, service
quality programs to consistently achieve
superior customer satisfaction, and customer
segmentation and re-pricing initiatives. He has
also directed major information system
conversions and negotiated branch banking sale
transactions.
Carl Ryden
Carl manages software product development
and customer support for the Margin Maximizer
Group of ProfitStars. Carl
has extensive experience in software and
hardware product development, finance and
strategy. Early in his career, he was a key
member of a small team at IBM that designed and
launched IBM's first notebook computer. His
other diverse experiences include: lead engineer
for the design and development of advanced
medical devices, strategy consultant at Bain &
Company, and most recently a Principal at a
Venture Capital firm. Carl has an MBA from the
MIT Sloan School of Management and a Masters in
Electrical and Computer Engineering from MIT
where he was a Robert Noyce Foundation Fellow
and a Leaders for Manufacturing Fellow.
